Why SRD Grant Results Change Monthly

SRD is assessed month by month. This means an applicant can be approved for one month, pending for another month, declined for another month, or referred for extra checks.

The monthly checks can include identity, income, bank-related checks, UIF, NSFAS, other social support, application details, and verification records.

SRD Grant Payment Dates

SRD R370 does not have one payment date for every applicant. Each approved applicant must check the monthly SRD result to see whether a pay date is shown.

Approved with pay date The month is approved and payment scheduling has appeared.
Approved but no pay date The month is approved, but the pay date has not appeared yet.
Payment not received The month may be approved with a pay date, but the money has not reflected yet.
Banking verification Payment can be delayed if banking details still need verification.

Approved SRD Grant but No Pay Date

If your SRD grant is approved but no pay date appears, do not immediately change banking details. First check the approved but no pay date guide.

SRD Grant Payment Not Received

If your SRD grant is approved with a pay date but the money has not reflected, use the payment not received guide before changing details repeatedly.
